Evergreen Edupress PLT, the publishing arm of Little Caliphs® International Sdn. Bhd., proudly showcased Malaysia’s educational innovation on the global stage at the Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) 2025. Held in conjunction with Malaysia’s prestigious role as the Country of Honour, this international spotlight provided the perfect platform for the global launch of Evergreen Edupress brand-new Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Series.
The participation was made possible through an exclusive invitation by the National Book Council of Malaysia (NBCM), in collaboration with Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Selangor (PPAS) and Perbadanan Kota Buku, a clear reflection of Malaysia’s growing prominence in the world of publishing and educational content.
Led by Director of Evergreen Edupress, Datin Dr. Hajah Sabariah Faridah Jamaluddin, she took centre stage with the debut of its new SEL Series, designed to revolutionize character education and emotional intelligence in young learners. Known for its progressive and values-driven approach to early childhood education, Evergreen Edupress once again affirmed its position as a thought leader in nurturing holistic, future-ready children.
Crafted by Nur Jannah Nur Iskandar, an esteemed early childhood education expert with over 15 years of experience, the new SEL Series is thoughtfully aligned with the upcoming Kurikulum Standard Prasekolah Kebangsaan (KSPK) 2026. The series is packed with engaging stories and resources that help children build critical skills in emotional literacy, empathy, resilience, and positive character development and all are essential for their formative years.
The highlight of the launch was a live storytelling session by Nur Jannah herself, drawing in crowds with her heartfelt narration and charming delivery. The session not only celebrated Malaysia’s rich storytelling tradition but also served as a vibrant showcase of the country's leadership in educational development.
The presence of Evergreen in Beijing marked a pivotal moment for both the brand and the Malaysian publishing industry. More than just a book launch, it was a declaration of intent to bring Malaysian-grown, curriculum-aligned, values-based educational content to classrooms around the world.
With the SEL Series now introduced on an international platform, Evergreen Edupress continues to lead the way in producing impactful educational materials that touch hearts, shape minds, and inspire young learners globally.
